Our Vrede Centre now has a B&B

Situated in Vrede itself, we offer a self-catering cottage,Breakfast is an optional extra.

With room for two, a dining and kitchen area fully equiped with a fire place to keep you warm in Winter.

Our cottage is'nt called "Amber's Cottage" for nothing! As you can see below.

We are always there to help and Amber loves all the company.

Building work on the South African National Bird of Prey Centre's Breeding Project in the Free State is progressing well. I'm now pleased to say it's complete watch this space for new pixs. Have a look at the old pictures so long.

We conserve Raptors and Cheetah by implementing our four main aims which are Education, Rehabilitation, Captive Breeding and Research.

This site will give you a brief insight into the life at the SA National Bird of Prey Centre and Wildlife Sanctuary which is a registered non profit organisation 009/768. We have been in existence for 12 years. All the members of our family have the knowledge, love and skill to work with Birds of Prey and Cheetah inspired by Trevor Oertel.

Continued project 2008

Glodel Academy

The school's initial enrolement was 25 and now I am pleased to say that the number of pupils have risen to a happy 137! The Centre has continually poured money into this project with much joy and satisfaction as lives and situations have improved. We have 9 teaching staff and 4 support staff that have made a difference.
